Patricia Gilbert, R.D., M.P.H., R.N., is a nurse and registered dietitian who is passionate about teaching the importance of healthy lifestyle choices. When she was just 4 years old, her father died from a heart attack; and that loss inspired her in adulthood to study the link between diet and heart disease. She and her husband live in Andrews, North Carolina.
